Good Morning everyone! I recently completed an interview with children’s author Wendy H. Jones on my podcast, Everything Kid’s Books, which you can find under the Podcasts tab on this website as well as on most podcast platforms.
I wanted to share some information with you about Wendy and her books so you can become familiar with her work and enjoy them as much as I do.
Wendy has been writing books for over 6 years. She writes in several genres: adult mystery/crime fiction, adult cozy mysteries, Young Adult mystery fiction, picture books, and non-fiction writing skills and self-help books for authors.
In the children’s book arena, Wendy has a Young Adult series titled Fergus and Flora, which will be rebranded and re-released sometime in the near future. Book 1 is currently titled The Dagger’s Curse and book 2 is currently titled The Haunted Broch. Wendy is also working on a 3rd book in the series, so watch for more information on her website about the re-release of this series.
Wendy also has a picture book titled Bertie the Buffalo that follows a little water buffalo who is an escape artist in Fife, Scotland. You can pick up your copy at these links on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Books a Million. You can also pick up one of the coloring books or soft plush toy of Bertie.
She is also working on a 2nd book in the Bertie the Buffalo series will be published in February. 2021. It will be called Bertie Goes to the Worldwide Games.
