Hello again everyone! I know it’s been quite a while since I’ve written a post, but I didn’t want to wait until Monday to do the first one of this year. After this post, I’ll return to my Monday weekly posts in the blog, so please come back to see what’s new.
Just to give a quick update, last year was quite the challenge. I wound up having a tumor removed from my leg that was a very rare form of low cancer. Surgery went well to remove it, and I am praising the Lord that I didn’t need chemotherapy or radiation treatment – just yearly checks to make sure it doesn’t come back!! Unfortunately, that was just the start of the year! We wound up having 4 surgeries between me and my husband last year, purchasing our first house, and I was involved in a very intensive project at work that took 3 1/2 months. Needless to say…..it was quite a year!!
It always amazes me how the Lord works through trials though! Amidst the struggles, we also had many blessings from God. My husband was finally promoted to Sergeant which was a blessing for him in his job! In addition, we bought our dream home – we just love our house and our neighborhood! So peaceful and beautiful here at the end of our road!
Even though the beginning of this year had begun to get away from me yet again after being on another intensive project at work that is about to wrap up, I’m so excited to get back into blogging AND writing! I’ve got a list of To Do’s for writing as well as for marketing and I’m thrilled to be getting back to writing every week and building my brand and books back up!
